Celtic press their 3 attackers against Braga’s 3 CBs, which will always leave Celtic’s 3 MFs against Braga’s 4

Celtic’s back 4 will always just stay on Braga wingback + striker. So as long as Braga just moved ball about fairly quickly they would always have a man free centrally

Kasper bypassing a player. Donovan creates space 1v1 that gives Bernardo just enough time to receive and then that quick ball into space (played from a spot that makes it more likely the pass is a success)

Braga’s first goal is good example of the benefits of build up with 3 defenders instead of 4.

Since Celtic don’t go man for man, leaving two CBs around one striker,
then Braga always have +1.
