Our new train is on its way to the Northeast Corridor for additional testing—marking a major milestone on the path to launching our new trains on the Amtrak Cascades corridor in 2026. Our Amtrak friends tell us that it should bee arriving tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon.

U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy (MT) has introduced S.2916, making it easier for long-distance passenger rail projects to advance in the Corridor ID program.

The first Siemens Airo loco has left the factory in Sacramento. Next stop is testing in Pueblo, followed by testing on the NEC, then service on the Cascades.
