U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy (MT) has introduced S.2916, making it easier for long-distance passenger rail projects to advance in the Corridor ID program.

The collapse of a progressive transportation package in Oregon (and the very mediocre package that passed in WA) suggests to me that Democrats need to come up with a coherent transportation policy consensus beyond "do everything."
