MAGA has essentially weaponized “the theory of legal realism” — namely the (originally post-liberal leftist) idea that the law, in the end, is (just) a political construct.

The implication being that law professors are just bullshit artists masking the play of power.

They don't believe laws are facts, just rough approximations of potential behavior.
