Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷

I tell you what, it’s the little personal touches that make LinkedIn’s recruiter outreach messages so appealing.

In a meeting with a discount wireless carrier, one of the sales engineers started his pitch for our service platform. The carrier's CTO immediately cut him off with "Look. Our primary demographic is pimps who buy their girls phones so they can keep track of them. We don't sell value-added services."

I actually *do* know who needs to hear this, but I'm not gonna call them out, plus it's a long list at this point, but right now, outside, there's grass. Go there. Touch it. Keep touching it until *whatever* that was subsides. Now keep at it a little longer to make sure you're ready to come back.

“Now hiring death-penalty judges to try guilty defendants.”
DOJ is now recruiting for immigration judges by calling them “deportation judges.”

That’s seems really bad.

For literally the past 800 years, the foundation of western society has been that the people in government are subject to the same laws as the people they govern. So I should be able to say the same things about Trump as he says about sitting congressional representatives, with the same consequences

My "Trump Does Not Want To Execute Members of Congress" t-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.

The articles about Target's disappointing financial results (with the release of their Q3 numbers showing a continued slide in sales) are baffling in their complete lack of analysis. Forbes seems to get it, but everyone else seems tickled to leave the quiet part quiet. www.forbes.com/sites/dougme...
The Quiet Part Out Loud: Target Ditching DEI Cost The CEO His Job And Investors $12 Billion
Eliminating its DEI programs has been bad for Target's business - seemingly costing investors billions and the CEO his job.

Even with *waves at congress and two rulings out of Texas*, Rian Johnson managed to capture two slots in “Now Breezing” by rejecting the notion of a Muppets Knives Out.

Look, y’all, we had a whole thing about masks. It’s 2025. If you’re out in public with a relentless rattling cough and no mask, you’re clearly a goddamned psychopath. We live in a society. Act like it.

You just know Higgins is preparing to flee the country ahead of whatever revelations these files have about him.
Breaking news: Congress will send a bill to President Trump to force the Justice Department to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein, overcoming a months-long impasse in the House and quickly dispatching with the issue in the Senate.

It’ll be comically ironic if the Texas redistricting is struck down but the California one isn’t.
I want to take a moment to thank the entire Elias Law Group team who worked on the Texas redistricting case as well as our fearless clients. The thirteen Black and Latino voters we represented stood up to challenge Texas's unprecedented mid-decade redistricting. We all ow them a debt of gratitude.

Okay, this is the *core* thing that bothers me about the fuck the south discourse
The south is not racist because of its demography - it’d the Blackest part of the country. It’s racist because of its history and also because of *rural* white enclaves — which exist all over the country

It seems to me that there *have* to be a lot of GOP congressmen who have had enough time to let this month’s electoral blowout sink in, who now realize that the only chance they have in the midterms is if someone different is in the White House. These upcoming votes could be interesting.

I honestly thought the damning evidence that finally took down the whole house of cards was going to be disgusting trafficking and child abuse stuff, not hilarious consensual behavior that finally caused the redneck caucus to clutch whatever they have instead of pearls.

Person in charge of training leopards to eat faces has face eaten by leopards. Details at 10.
I don’t want anyone to receive threats, but for many years Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has enjoyed this sort of energy from President Trump when it’s been directed at her political enemies and now objects to it when she’s on the receiving end.

“Holy shit, the leopards were intended for our faces all along”
Hispanic neighborhoods that voted for Trump in 2024 abandoned his party in the 2025 elections.

In New Jersey, cities that shifted the most toward Democrats were those with the highest percentage of Latino voters. And California’s most Hispanic county saw a huge shift as well.
