The line was always trending upwards. Really this seems more like correlation than causation. I got a plushy because I started wetting my diaper more doesn't mean the plushy caused the wetting.

So we just have these weird cycles of everyone staying quiet until there's a breaking point. Then there are tons of --ULTIMATE ACCUSATIONS-- many of which aren't true, but all of which betray the core problem that there's been trouble brewing for a while and no one wants to say anything.

Actionable. And the only action people recognize is complete destruction of a person's life and not like ... Positive changes towards just being a better person who doesn't actively hurt other people.

One thing I really dislike about the constant dismissal of everything people find unpleasant as drama is it discourages people from saying the things they actually know in ways that could actually improve our community.

I so resonate with that. I just like people a lot. And I like when someone can find something that makes them happy.

Even if I don't enjoy the same thing, just seeing someone talk about a thing that brings them joy brings me energy listening to them gush about it.

Maybe it's because I just really sincerely love when people open up to me about the things that bring them joy, but few things are as bad to me as the people who relentlessly mock people for the things they like.
