here’s my piece of the crj tracklist! i had a really cute time conspiring with friends on this little zine. with just a single piece of paper you too can carry around sylvix having big, sometimes absurd feelings in your pocket!

The crinkle of the reusable grocery bag put Sylvain on alert. He whipped around to the front door. “Where are you going? And do you want to put me in your bag like a little dog?”

Felix froze with his hand on his keys. “No? I’m just going to the store?”

“To the store,” Sylvain said.

“Why would you repeat that?”

“You might not see me anymore, anymore.”

“I don’t like this,” Felix said, his brow wrinkling.

It was with sudden moisture in his eyes that Sylvain said, “I’m not that good at goodbyes. Sometimes it’s best to just fly.”

Felix turned the doorknob slowly, with the air of a man forced into a sudden hostage negotiation. “I’m going to get you the white cheddar popcorn you like,” he said, backing out of the apartment, “and when I come back I need things here to be different.”
