Theatre people, PLEASE stop using tired formulae to advertise your productions!

I do NOT want to see "A play about divorce, friendship and lizards".

Not even "Five neighbours, two vibrators, one dilemma" does it for me.

Surely you can find more imaginative ways to describe what's on??

Good morning. Just a reminder that a relatively recent TA Giga Poll of over 43,000 respondents found that only 10% of British adults agreed with Tice, Farage & Reform U.K. over their ongoing manmade climate denial. I’m advised that no children whatsoever agreed with them 😉.

1. The European Parliament’s attempt to ban plant-based foods from being sold as “sausages”, “burgers” etc is a direct response to livestock industry lobbying. This is a short thread on how utterly bleeding ridiculous it is. 🧵1/6

❗A ruling from the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) agreed with complaints against sportswear giant Nike, saying its claim of using 'sustainable materials' in plastic polyester tennis garments was misleading. 🧵

70 years ago today, Rosa Parks became a legend

Tired after a long day at work & fed up with the injustice of it all, one day she sat on a ‘whites-only’ bus seat and, when asked to move, decided on the spot to refuse

She was arrested, and her courage sparked an uprising

Or so the story goes

When will we extend fuel duty to the luxury of flying - and add VAT? We have both taxes applied to motorists - people going to work and about their daily lives, get taxed to the max. People flying round the word - nothing. It can’t be justified.
