Another day another racist outburst, another Reform politician. Add that to the former leader in Wales getting 10 years for being a Russian agent - cash for speeches - and I wonder what the R stands for in Reform - Racist, Russian agitator.

Farage is the man that brought us Brexit - his xenophobia appears un quenched - this is his impact now on the NHS, 25% of all nurses may leave - and nurses are almost 25% of the NHS btw - this would be a huge blow.

Arab children buried in the rubble again - as Israel murders civilians with impunity. We just learned this week that all of the TNT the US uses is made in Poland and all of the TNT Isreal uses in it’s Genocide in Palestine - comes from the US, originating in Europe.

That’s actually, factually wrong….green energy costs more than it needs to because we let gas set the price, it’s not a lack of pylons (infrastructure) that exposes us to volatility of fossil fuel pricing - its the link.

The Millionaire road show, FGR go top of the league and Dale fact checks himself. Also, a new defence for eco protestors - from the government?

Fact is we need some balance in the ‘debate’ on immigration - studies show that people coming here are more likely to work and pay tax than the gen pop - and they make a net economic contribution.

What we're hearing today....is propaganda....
November 21, 2025 at 2:14 PM
The reason your energy bills are so high and more volatile than they should be? It’s because the global price of gas sets the price of all our green energy in the UK – its madness.

I called for this at the Penguin protest last month - the only thing that makes sense is for Merlin to talk to conservation groups and arrive at a plan for a new home. Of course release into the wild won’t work - but London Zoo, not very far away has an outdoor Penguin enclosure.

You probably won’t see this in mainstream media - aka the right wing press - coz it’s against their narrative. Wind energy in Britain broke a new record last week with nearly 23GW on the grid one cold windy evening.

Incredible. The Chancellor rents out her house without council permission and there’s an enormous fuss and people saying she should resign. Reform members talk openly about genocide on Muslims - and, well - relative silence.

We have VAT on energy bills and people this winter are choosing between heating and eating because it's such a difficult thing to afford, and a necessity. But if you fly on holiday, there's no VAT. So that's an example of how our tax system is regressive, those with the least contribute the most.
November 20, 2025 at 6:58 PM
It’s morally wrong and a false economy. Spiteful and stupid, like a lot of Conservative policies. Forcing people especially kids into poverty takes away their life chances and their ability to contribute to our country, our economy when they grow up.
November 20, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Our tax system is rigged, people with money pay half the rate of tax of people with jobs. A wealth tax would be a start and it's worth pointing out, it would only affect 20,000 people out of 60 million, and they (we) would only pay 2% on anything over 10 million pounds.

The Price Cap swings up and down with global fossil fuel prices - until we 'break the link’ that won’t change. But this welcome small drop is drowned out by another energy market ‘rip off’.

People that make money, fund success - here in our country in our economy, they should pay tax here, put back into the system that enabled their success. Not run off like some thief in the night to a tax haven to save paying their fair share. I reckon that’s immoral.
November 20, 2025 at 12:53 PM
Cars are an essential, planes are for holidays. Of course it’s not that black and white - but I’ll tell you what is, zero fuel duty on flying and big fuel duty on driving. That’s wrong. Our tax system needs to be more fair, logical and progressive.

I would welcome a wealth tax in this budget – it’s the moral and logical thing to do. When millions of children are living in poverty, when one million don’t even have a bed to sleep in tonight, and millions of people struggle to make ends meet.

7 day fantasy Budget Wishlist:

Energy is a necessity, flying is a luxury - but energy bills have VAT slapped on them while flying has none. Makes no sense, our tax system needs an overhaul - needs to be made more progressive. Home heating is not a luxury, flying on holiday is. Tax the right thing.

Nuclear power is often described as ‘clean’ - that ignores the findings of the Royal Commission, aka, the Flowers report 50 years ago, that states.....

This is a shocking finding and government needs to act. It’s high time we had dietary advice that follows the science not Big Food lobbying. But we also need a proper definition of what ultra-processed foods are, one that focuses on high in fat, sugar and salt.
