My belief coming into these playoffs was that the Bears were cursed, and thus there was no way they'd be able to make it out of the NFC. But Ben Johnson having success elsewhere kind of worsens the Lions curse, and they're the most cursed team in the conference. So maybe the Bears can do it? 🤷♂️

One thing I don't get is why the Packers went back to McManus after Havrisik was as good if not better. No sexual harasser vibes in the building and you're paying him less, and it's not like McManus is some legendary postseason kicker, as evidenced by him dropping 7 points in a game you lost by 4.

Someone with a bigger account than me please point this out: look where that lone bullet hole is, basically at the edge of the windshield. If he were at any risk of actually being run over by a car that we can see from other photos was turning *away* from him, it'd have to be near or over the wiper.

OK Democrats, Donald has set the standard: if the head of state of a nation has overseen the commission of crimes, the United States has the right to forcibly arrest and criminally try that person. My vote to whoever promises to vigorously enforce that standard with regards to this administration.

In hindsight, it's wild that the one branch of the federal government we don't directly elect is also the one that (in theory at least) is most responsible for protecting our rights as citizens against unconstitutional overreaches by the other two.

As a native of Las Vegas I get to say this: Frank Sinatra's version of "Jingle Bells" is probably the worst version that gets regular radio play. Ol' Blue Eyes has plenty of bangers (both Christmas and generally), but he really whiffed on that one.

Having watched the Packers and Bears for twenty minutes, my official conclusion is that neither team is particularly good, and by extension the whole NFC is kinda garbage.

My turn to be an internet scold: "inside you there are two wolves" comes from an indigenous story about choosing to "feed" our prosocial tendencies, and it kind of sucks that we have turned something with a much needed moral (particularly in our current climate) into nothing more than a meme format.
