First proper road trip under its belt. Used it as a van to take a stand a mags to the Jim Clark event in Duns. Not bad for a car that stood for six years until January, and which has averages below 2000 miles per year over its lifetime.

Three of the four single-seaters Jim Clark drove in 1968, the year he won the F1 World Championship, the Indy 500 and the Tasman Series. It’s a record that will never be beaten. The backdrop is Duns Castle.

I’ve covered 1000 miles in the Mondeo now. To mark the milestone I’m going to clean off the algae (in this heat). A polish might have to wait until the weather cools down.
