Yorktown was a tremendously awful experience for the majority of the Blk people involved. What I find interesting, though, is how Blk people viewed each other. Think about it. The 1st Rhode Island, Blk soldiers in other units, James Lafayette, & others vs. thousands of Blk refugees. #HATM
