I read a statistic yesterday that only 5% of authors work full-time as authors. There's a lot to unpack there.
My debut was a journey of ambition, reality checks & challenges. I can't join that 5%, but I've learned to settle for writing for writing's sake.

I'm torn between buying two office chairs. I haven't faced a decision this difficult since naming my debut novel 😅 Considering my back is on the line I think a pros & cons list is called for.

I'm breaking 1st draft rules & stopping 4 chapters in to make structural edits.
It was useful to swap MC's perspectives at a scene level, but now I'm in their heads I can go back to 1 MC POV per chapter to maintain emersion.
