Very sad to hear from our friends at Brixton Buzz that The Prince of Wales pub and club closed with immediate effect yesterday. Another great Brixton icon bites the dust. The pub has literally featured on every Guided Walk I have given in Brixton. Sad news 😞

Last week my Mum finally came out of hospital after being stuck there for 8 weeks after a fall at home. Sadly, her #Alzheimers is now so severe we have had no choice but to put her in a care home as my Dad can no longer cope with her at home. Heartbroken 💔

I won a pair of trainers yesterday. While I’m very grateful I don’t really need another pair of trainers. Why can’t my lottery numbers come up? 😆

Some Selhurst street art I spotted whilst on my way to a business meeting with my Walk Wife Clare last week.

First mural is by Mr Cenz and was created in 2020 as part of the London Mural Festival 💖

All this talk of 20 years of Confessions on Dancefloor reminded me I actually made a photo book at the time. Quite possibly the best album and tour Madonna ever did. Looking forward to part II 💜🪩💜🪩

A few weeks ago I took this lovely group on my Hidden River Effra and the Stink Pipes walk … my first ever private commission. Joe booked the walk for his friend’s big birthday and we had a wonderful time. If you’re interested in commissioning me like this then do get in touch 1/2

Many Happy Returns to King Charles III today. I was reminded of this portrait we saw earlier this year at our private tour of the old Granada in Tooting. Crated by artist Nathan Wyburn using only bingo cards and blotters. Wishing his Majesty a Full House today 👑

Ever since we watched True Blood together Sister Jeff has been obsessed with Alexander Skarsgård so as his birthday is coming I booked us tickets for the Out At Clapham special preview of his new movie Pillion. An uncomfortable watch at times, this unconventional love story lifts the lid 1/2

A well timed sunset as we visited the Belgrade Fortress. The city grew at the confluence of two great European rivers, the Sava and the Danube. Belgrade means the White City and the name comes from the white stone used to construct the original parts of the Fortress 🏰

Our tour guide Zeljko in traditional Serbian dress who took us around the city and explained how many centuries of conflict have led to the colourful and dynamic city that we see today. He ended the tour by presenting us with our very own rakija glass and shared some of his family’s own home brew 💙
