It'll still be a little longer before I'll have the time to stream again, so the next stream is still TBD. My schedule will still be pretty limited for the forseeable future, so even when I get back to it, my streams will be more sporadic than usual. As usual, going to go with the flow here.
Reminded that DC is working on a multi-part Batman: Knightfall adaptation, and despite Knightfall being one of my favorite Batman stories, I can only shrug considering their track record for the last decade or so.

Thinking about how Sine Mora and Black Knight Sword were considered "sister games" by the developers Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality, and how that nugget of information was only ever shared on the now-defunct Sine Mora Facebook page, as far as I can tell.

Though I'm not very interested in actually playing it, seeing the occasional screenshot and video on my feed, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is the first time I've seen an HD-2D game that didn't immediately feel like an assault on my eyes.

I learned quite literally mid-stream that ICO's save point inspired the save point in No More Heroes. Fascinating! (www.videogameschronicle.com/news/top-gam...)

Here is my Italian DS copy of Flower, Sun, and Rain that arrived at the end of August. I was worried that it might have become a victim of the recent international shipping mess when the last expected delivery date came and went, but it fortunately arrived the next day. Whew...

Tapping the sign so much from seeing people still misleadingly associate Suda 51/GHM with these projects that I may as well be bleeding from my hand.
Seeing people blame Suda for the use of AI in Hotel Barcelona (a Swery game with limited contributions that Suda outright called "lip service ") and Let It Die: Inferno (developed by a totally different studio without Suda), and...come on, man, this stuff isn't hard.

Suda has brought up revisiting Michigan on several occasions. Here's an interview from 2009, for instance. Obviously, nothing concrete has happened yet, but at the very least, Suda is rather consistent about the game. www.gamedeveloper.com/game-platfor...

It's actually one of my favorite GCN games, though even a decade ago, I knew it was a pretty clean break from the rest of the series. I also refuse to acknowledge the Wii version since it looks like they thinned it down to a more "regular" platformer.

Here's an excerpt from the Travis Strikes Again Collector's Edition book talking about bar plastic model (based on a real establishment) in No More Heroes. The owner Kei Sekine also shares a funny and sweet story about making Suda 51's own cocktail, the 51!

Funny story for the NMH3 screenshot here: I couldn't find it saved on my PC, so I looked on my Switch, which has 1000+ NMH3 screenshots. However, I simply scrolled to the bottom for the earliest ones, because even years later, I knew that I must have gone there first thing to check (and I was right)
In terms of the other games, bar plastic model get a Special Thanks in NMH2 despite not showing up; it was likely in the cut overworld, and the model might be there, but I couldn't find a shot in any cut content videos, nor can I check myself. It does show up in NMH3, though you can't enter it.

Also helps that I know another big Nolan fan in person and we both can geek out about him!

I've been meaning to do a full rewatch of Christopher Nolan's work for a while, and I keep getting more tempted each day. Part of it stems not just from wanting to watch my favorites again, but also from wanting to grapple with the flicks that didn't resonate with me as much (or cooled on later).
