Pretty relieved to realise my AWS credit doesn't expire until September next year (and that I've only used £2k of the £5k from the ATProto grant), that gives me a good few months to get XBlock onto stable local infra. I think if I can get Redis and Ozone back locally it'll be sustainable.

Me to my graphics card: "Why are you struggling with NMS on its lowest settings??? Disappointing."

My long-suffering graphics card that does all of XBlock's inference: "I hate you so much."

Good @techpolicypress.bsky.social piece on how the logic of neoliberalism left the door open for tech fascists to swallow the entire world, and how digital tech sovereignty could counterbalance the disproportionate power of American tech firms.

The UN climate change conference (COP30) having rooms shut down both to flooding and an extreme fire is a bit metaphorically excessive.
