So far I'm doing Precons. I'm doing two runs of each bloomburrow precon just while I learn how to play and what I like, etc. So far I've done Squirreled Away and Animated Army. Next will be Family Matters!

Oh geeze, that's mean lol. Some commanders I've noticed are SO STRONG that they end up being targeted and wiped repeatedly until they're no longer a threat. So far I'm enjoying playing the commanders that are consistent and fun, but not so domineering that everyone feels the need to blast 'em. XD

Yesterday I played a raccoon deck that focused on enchantments and artifacts! It allowed me to turn most of them into 4/4s but only on the attack phase. It was pretty wild! Very aggressive playstyle.

I've only played a little so far, but there's so much variance in terms of kinds of decks, strategies, etc, it feels almost like I'm showing up to a different game every time lol

Played Magic (Commander)! It was important to a friend of mine and I don't think I'd have ever tried it if it weren't for him.

But I liked it!! And some of the cards are WGEB! Would draw. Haha that's a pun.

Yesterday I fed my friends to cute squirrels :D

You won in such an interesting way, using cool interplay with the cards! The biggest funny was when you decided "actually I'm wiping the board of everyone except me :)" I learned a lot that match. Definitely a great introduction to Commander for me. nvn

The queen-card bird from Sea Food (diodemoth.itch.io/seafood) sneaking the eel away for safekeeping, ace card in tow. The round's going *pretty well,* though, so they'll have plenty of time...
(keeping the sword though)

The queen-card bird looking satisfied and leaning against a door, propping their belly up against the wall with one thigh and resting a hand on it for good measure. They're holding an ace (rescue) card and 9 (weapon) card. They're wearing the sword and the rope depicted in the ace card trails from their mouth to the arm they're holding against the door. There's a status heart off to the side of their belly showing the eel is at full health.

Meanwhile, the ferret character is depicted having thrashed three high-power enemy cards with the strongest weapon and buff available, looking maniacal as they stare down the weakest enemy in the game, who simply shrugs and goes 'Welp'.

Sooooo, this is Archer. He's a fox ranger npc in the humblewood campaign I'm running... and basically my current 'sona.

Yeah. A fox. Who knew?

He can read and manipulate instincts in himself and others! It's a very special form of druidic magic that embraces the wild!
