When they scale properly (I've seen it happen one single time) or there's only 2 people whacking the boss, there are actual cool engaging mechanics to do

I finally started Occult Crescent and tbh I am not a fan at all
Fate scaling is completely, totally fucked; there aren't many people in this instance and I'm still missing fates or baely making it in time
CEs also do not seem to spawn frequently at all
And not being able to queue into CEs sucks

I don’t understand why people use player count to dunk on single-player games
I can’t think of many single-player games that have truly long tails at all, Bethesda RPGs and some really highly replayable indies like Stardew are the only ones to come to mind. Replayability & playtime≠quality

More Horizon, GoW, etc, was cool in 2022; it's tiring as fuck in 2025, especially with so little else to show in the future

Almost sounds like the fan either died or got disconnected, that behavior sounds consistent with throttling and if it's dead silent that suggests it's throttling because the fan either isn't going or just isn't going enough
