Guitarist lures me to a dreamy
utopia with a series of arpeggios
and broken chords.
Takes me on a euphoric ride
without protection.
He moans a bluesy melody

And I sink in quicksand.
Take this tissue skin,
Beat it.
Harden it.
Add a layer of audacity.
Drink sharp nails.
Direct them through your glare.
That one will shrivel.
This one is an Argo in clashing seas.
