Godzilla vs Biollante and King of Snake/Thunder of Gigantic Serpent are actually kinda similar because they both intersperse gunplay and hand-to-hand action between the monster set pieces and there's something for the girls.

Also the scientist chap wants to go with his girl to America in both.

multi-format vhs player is officially toast (unless i can fix / replace the motor, which has finally given out on it all together after only being *mostly* inoperable for months). stuck with a shoddy dvd+vhs combo deck for now, which honestly isn't so so bad through the s-video output.

there is nothing this zine could ever publish that would fill me with more dread than its web design. (the header image is also choice for a publication with a no-slasher policy). i do admire the ongoing use of tables in a.d. 2025, however. blue on yellow, all-caps, is also a strong choice.
