Liberal Identity Politics is a conservative deflection, like All Lives Matter, or Blue Live Matter.

MAGA Nationalism is exclusionary. It peels the apple to its core. It does not want equity or inclusion. It does not recognize or tolerate marginalized identities.

MAGA is uncompromising.

Let's run the analysis for the LGBTQ.

What is their error? They did not choose to be gay. The spectrum is real. Life is non-binary. Ignorance is a block of cement. It is always on sale.

LGBTQ had a grievance. "Stop mistreating us."

And America responded with a deflecton.

There was a grievance of unfairness.
There was a protest of injustice.
There was a deflection from white Americans.
There was a division - created and named.

Conservative Americans created the division.

Again they deflected.
Oh no, they said, it is Liberal Identity Politics that is to blame.

Instead, they deflected the protest. They said, "White people aren't the problem here. The problem rests with how Black people behave towards law enforcement."

Now they have deflected again. BY using the term Liberal Identity Politics, they seek to punch back at minorities.

BLM made a fair and accurate objection to American law enforcement. The corrective action that was needed was pretty simple - new training, more empathy, eliminate racial frustrations.

The reaction from those who cried, All Lives Matter and Blue Live Matter did not cooperate.

Let's take BLM. It did not exist until it became known that Black Americans were being treated differently by some police departments. (Geo Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin). In fact, stidues have shown Black Americans are disproportionately killed by police.

Political action is organized around shared identity (e.g., Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ+ rights, feminist movements)

Conservatives depict this as divisive, collectivist, or undermining national unity.

That is an old trick - blaming the other side for the consequences of what you did.

3. Institutionalize compromise

They did not want us to become divided over ideology. There is only ONE true American value we all share.
