Dr. Bill Cassidy, whom I knew when he was a physician at the Earl K. Long Charity Hospital in Baton Rouge, pointed out that people who live with Hepatitis B face a huge chance of suffering or dying from cirrhosis of the liver or liver cancer.

20,000 babies a year were born with this a year…

Please call your reps and tell them NOT to fund this government
Any Democratic votes to fund DHS later this month as Minneapolis is being terrorized by DHS is going to be a major slap in the face to Americans living here. Demand major reforms or shut the government down.

The top 10% of richest Americans own 87% of stocks.

The top 1% alone own roughly half of all stocks.

It's worth pointing out once again that the stock market is not the economy.

Pretty much sums up where the USA is today.

If Trump and his billionaire media tycoon buddies get their way, in 2026 we won't even be able to watch legitimate news from overseas. They are pushing for all alt-right propaganda all the time.

If you're a staffer at 60 Minutes who worked on that CECOT segment that got yanked by Bari Weiss at the last minute, figure out a way to leak it. Not saying it's an easy decision or there won't be consequences, but ask yourself why you got into journalism in the first place.

Mike Johnson closed the House down early to avoid a vote on extending ACA tax credits. Nice try, Mike—all that does is give us more time to rally up support.

Let's get loud as hell, folks, and make sure every member of Congress knows where we stand:

Tell Congress: Demand Speaker Johnson hold a vote IMMEDIATELY on the ACA tax credit extension

A few reminders about the SCOTUS immunity decision for Presidents:

It does not provide immunity for prior crimes.

It does not provide immunity to the President's cabinet.

Similar to Roe v. Wade, it can be overturned in the future.

This can’t really be happening here, right?
ICE deported a woman who owned a home in the US for 30 years. A judge banned ICE from deporting her to Sierra Leone where she had been tortured, so it deported her to Ghana, which kidnapped her and sent her back Sierra Leone anyway. ICE is part of this illegal conspiracy.

Nuclear power plants, refineries, etc. We are so dependent on the internet and software…
The latest Cloudflare and Amazon outages have got me thinking about utilities. We can't build modern software without dependencies. The days of running entirely on the client are over, which I see as a good thing. The cost is that we rely on infrastructure.
