Hey, that's me. Touching an EV-1 like it's an everyday occurrence
I don’t think project cars get cooler than this
I wanted to go back and make a better video with that car, but the Lane stopped allowing others to drive it unfortunately
I had no idea the Vauxhall version had such a radically different face until now
Why can't you home charge? All these need in your neck of the woods is a wall socket because they can only do 3kW
Electric mowing in the 70's ⚡
In America I believe these are both classes as compacts. America is a silly place
Look at that little face
We got the Actyon pickup in the states as gliders. Some company was making them into EVs, but it seems a fair number of them made it into the market without powertrains
A couple years ago I went to an EV conversion event. One guy was there in an electric converted bugeye sprite. I learned later that he got rear ended in that Sprite by a semi truck right after the event. He lived, but with serious back injuries
Everybody (including myself) is going to be absolutely thrilled to meet you!
I had a hot dog and pretzels from a gas station for dinner
You should trade your Model 3 for one. I'm sure your bank account will love it
Oh. I hadn't considered they might be for Ikea's use. If that's the case, they could've put them somewhere other than directly across from the EA stalls
A small part of me wonders if those 24kW chargers will be free
22kW AC charging isn't a thing in the US. 19kW AC charging is a thing, but most cars max out at 11kW. Our connectors aren't setup for three phase, so we have to make do with 240v
EA at IKEA. And! Because most cars charge too fast to go through IKEA, there's a row of 24kW DC chargers! Ikea gets it.

I fear there will be people trying to get somewhere, plug into the 24kW chargers, and wonder why there car is charging so slow, but that's their problem
And Slate thinks they're special with their $27k truck with crank windows and no speakers

The US already devotes more than 40 million acres to growing corn for ethanol fuel production.

If only ~1/3 of that land were converted to solar PV, it could generate enough electricity to cover the entire country's electricity needs.
I forgot to feed my dog yesterday. She was dramatic about it
Twitter is doing real good. How is this an ad?

Aside from being incoherent, that's not the population of Earth
That Silverado is so ugly. Who on earth would buy one of those pigs?
