IDK who needs to hear this, but if the government stopped subsidizing gas cars like they did electric cars, the average cost per gallon of gas would be $15-$20. The argument of “EVs are too expensive” only holds because of the insane subsidies ICE vehicles get from the government.

Tesla is completely unable to compete with the competition. The BASE model 3 (which lacks power adjusted mirrors!?) is $38k. The new TOP TRIM Chevy Bolt (which has power adjust mirrors) is $32k

The disappearance of the EV tax credit due to the BBB will absolutely hurt US manufacturing. Why would companies invest millions to move battery manufacturing to the US if it’s cheaper for them to just pay the tariffs on imports? Plus it gives China even more time to run laps around us! Yippie!
