Not a shortcut. I view it as a disciplined and wise way to improve my own cognition as I utilize AI to sharpen my own critical thinking chaos into cohesion. I'm not asking AI for answers. I'm giving it my messy answers and asking it to order my thoughts for me.
You make good points in this thread. This is why I balance my AI use with critical thinking "in the wild." I never wish to lose that ability. I want to sharpen it, not dull it.

You make valid points in your blog. However, you worked in partnership with a human to solve the problem. See how partnership works? The human had to critically think to help solve your issues. No cognitive offloading. You also learned some valuable lessons.
