Recently watched: Tell Me Your Name / Dime Tu Nombre (2025)
This series had enough spooky elements but squandered them. The jinn were a nice change from the usual Christian demons, but in the end, it didn't really make a difference.

Finished it! Hyacinthe was just embarrassing. Des Hermies was right when he said something was missing from Canon Docre's Black Mass. They didn't have to be as extreme as Gilles de Rais, but not even a goat or sheep sacrifice?

I’ve been reading his work for many years & I can readily appreciate why many qualify his writing as ‘timeless’.

Remembering J.G. Ballard, born OTD 1930.
I’ve been reading his work for many years & I can readily appreciate why many qualify his writing as ‘timeless’.

Clearly we're not as smart as our own characters, but we eventually realised that leaving the vampire unrestrained didn't make much sense. So, we had to go back and correct that oversight and now Kit is safely chained.

We know enough about the ED franchise to know that this movie has a more serious tone. We liked most of it: Possessed Ellie was creepy as were the book + records; there was plenty of bloody violence; and the tension was high.😱
