I’m Ahmad, 26.
A survivor of the Gaza Holocaust,🕊2023.
The war destroyed 26 years of my life,
but it could never steal my hope.
With your kindness, I can begin a new life,
a life beyond the ruins.

My story isn’t over and it will never be.
What looked like an ending was nothing but a new beginning.
I wasn’t a sad chapter I was the rise after the fall.
I learned that sadness doesn’t make heroes, and happiness doesn’t come from circumstances.✍🏻↪

How did fear become our daily companion?
How can a human live in safety when the sky above them is not a sky, but a threat?

How can we end all wars?
Is dreaming enough?
Or do we still need a kind of courage we keep searching for beneath the rubble?

How long will we keep counting the days instead of living them?
Why has life become something taken from people instead of given to them?

Will a day come when peace truly belongs to everyone not just a polite word we hang on walls?

Israel Moved Gaza’s Yellow Line And Then Shelled Palestinians For Being On The Wrong Side

They just keep finding new ways to carve off more pieces of Gaza and murder more Palestinians.

This is my photo from 2005… I was a Palestinian child living in my home, going to my kindergarten, and taking trips to the beautiful cities of Palestine.
But today… I am displaced in Mawasi Khan Younis.
I wish I had died as a child, before witnessing this painful life.💔💔

How do you in one paragraph go from saying you won't relinquish occupied territories in another country because you need a buffer but condemn another country for having had those same concerns under Assad? Who have had the burden of hosting millions of displaced persons.
In an interview today, Netanyahu says the following

•There will never be a Palestinian state, even if this means no normalization with Saudi Arabia

•Israel won't leave the occupied Syrian territories

•Israel would like a deal with Turkey but is prepared to treat it like Iran
Netanyahu: ‘There will not be a Palestinian state,’ even at cost of ties with Saudis
In interview with Telegram channel, PM says border deal with Syria 'preferable' but won't budge on security demands; Israel to boost arms industry to ease reliance on US

Both sides play politics according to their own interests.
But the sad truth is that as Gazans we’re the ones who always bear the losses, no matter how much our story circulates around the world.
Israeli press is irate that Trump didn't push back on Mamdani saying the US funds genocide against Palestinians

Despite the cruelty, the loss, the fear, and the hunger we still stand, carrying our Palestinian identity like a heartbeat that never stops.

AND THE QUESTION REMAINS: CAN HARDSHIP EVER FORCE US TO ABANDON WHO WE ARE?

Those who know our pain know the truth
we suffer, yes, but we do not break.🕊

the implicit standard of "criminality" is doing a lot of work here, mostly as a desperate appeal to avoid thinking (not grading any of your students' exams is not criminal behavior either but you can very quickly see how that might nevertheless put a professor's employment in jeopardy)

Countless Palestinians have emerged blinded, maimed, starved, and scarred — victims of unspeakable torture and humiliation. Israel became a brutal experiment of empire, and it will fail — of that, there is no doubt.

The ordinary person in Gaza is fighting a real war on multiple fronts, and each front crushes him in every sense of the word:

A war on the front of securing daily flour.
A war on the front of providing his family’s most basic food needs....⬇️↪

There is a place called Palestine, home to people who deserve life, just like anyone else in the world.

Keep pushing, keep supporting, and work for real change.

You have the power to influence decisions, to ask those in power who can act to stop the destruction and end the aggression.

We organized an event to form the map of Palestine with our bodies, with broad participation from all segments of society: journalists, teachers, children, the elderly, and even some #UNRWA officials. It was a powerful moment that reaffirmed Palestine lives in everyone's heart.🤍🇵🇸

Palestine, I will give you my years I will sacrifice my life,💔
Your sun will rise despite the massacres, the chains and the oppressors.
Palestine, I ask myself, as the tears choke me, why does the child have to die young?🕊
For us his memory will live forever.💔
