I felt like I was losing my mind watching this person's remarks and had to write about how disgusting they are.
Sarah Hurwitz Profanes the Holocaust
Holocaust education has worked too well for the Obama speechwriter, since when she rationalizes Israel's genocide, "I sound obscene." Maybe sit with that, Sarah

Chief Justice John Roberts rigged our democracy, helped Trump retake power, and is now discarding legal and constitutional constraints on Trump's actions.

But Roberts needs Trump, too. This symbiotic relationship means there is no hope for course correction.

This is all John Roberts’ fault
Trump owes his corrupt and abusive reign to one man.

The ongoing pushback against "Never again for anyone."
I'm struck by this clip of former Obama speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz saying Holocaust education has backfired in part because people Palestinians as victims: "They think the lesson of the Holocaust is…you fight the big powerful people hurting the weak people."

In April 2009, the Washington Post asked 10 writers to make the case for something that deserves to be tossed out as part of "spring cleaning."

I chose Larry Summers.

BREAKING: In AAUP et al v. Trump (wall-to-wall union lawsuit challenging the administration’s unlawful use of TItle VI to reshape the University of California system), the faculty and staff of the UC system WON!!!

We were granted our preliminary injunction! @aaup.org

DARTMOUTH OUT!

We are at 6 rejections. Vanderbilt is the only private left standing "considering" the compact along with UT Austin and the University of Arizona.
Dartmouth is OUT! Thank goodness... a friend at U of A and I have been playing "Who will be the last of the 9 standing?" and it's not gonna be us!

I am thrilled, once again, to be lawsuit free!

For the last year, I've been a named defendant in a lawsuit challenging the Rutgers caste report. The judge threw it out of NJ court this week, no leave to amend.

It's a win for civil rights, academic freedom, and the anti-caste movement.

I love this paragraph:

“One of the chants that has become ubiquitous at these protests at Broadview is, ‘Love your neighbor, love your God, save your soul and quit your job,’” said Black, who pastors at the First Presbyterian Church of Chicago. “Everybody chants that.”
