The most egregious historical fault of the Stranger Things Final Season is Will’s coming out. Not written with any context of queer history or intention, it’s sappy, insincere, & whitewashed the actual struggles of the LGTQ+ community in the Reagan era at the height of the AIDS epidemic & hysteria.

I think the lost in translation for the One Piece debate is folks argue that it’s not political b/c Captain Luffy who is not politically savvy nor intellectually cunning. His allies, friends, and crew however- all are. His father leads the Revolutionary Army. His morals align with antifa 100%.
