Happy International Women's Day! #IWD2025

In 1911, more than 40,000 women, including large groups of nurses and midwives, marched in London demanding votes for women and the King's support of the Conciliation Bill.

The RCN Northern Ireland History Network paid a visit to the Ulster Museum yesterday to hear more about nursing artefacts the Museum holds and Matron Musson's medals. Anne Musson was Matron of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast from 1922 until 1946. She had served in World War 1 in France.
