A 'blobber' with a clever combat system that forces you to make agonising decisions. It has a steep learning curve thanks to poorly explained mechanics (there are some aspects I still don't understand) but it's worth persisting with.

I think it's because the restrictions are so tight that you can't possibly do everything, which counterintuitively frees you to just roam around and experiment
