It was great to visit the Forces Employment Charity’s Birmingham hub and see the life-changing support they provide.

As a former Royal Marine I was especially grateful to meet the dedicated Central Support Team, whose skill and commitment support reservists, families and veterans across the UK.

Last week I visited Jay at Wise Fabrication.

Jay is the Black Country’s last remaining original blacksmith, keeping a craft alive that is woven into our local history.

Thank you to Jay for preserving our heritage and continuing this proud legacy here in Halesowen.

Last week, I got a taste of a shift at Park Lane McDonald's in Cradley!🍟

McDonald's employs lots of young staff, giving many of them their first jobs.

I look forward to our joint litter pick in the Spring!

Peter Mandelson's links to Epstein are appalling and his appointment should never have been made. I am pleased that a proper investigation is taking place.

It's important that we remember Epstein's victims and keep them at the forefront of the investigation.

Yesterday, West Midlands Railway was brought back into public ownership🚅

This is a move towards a simpler, more reliable railway — run in the public interest, not for private profit.

Brilliant news for anybody travelling from Cradley Heath, Old Hill or Rowley Regis train stations!

This week, I met with Blair McDougall MP, Minister responsible for Royal Mail, to share my concern about postal delays in Halesowen.

From April 2026, every pub will get 15% off its new business rates bill, with a 2 year real terms freeze on top of that!

Pubs are the beating heart of our community here in Halesowen, and I'm delighted that this Labour government is putting pubs first.🍻

As survivors become fewer, it is our responsibility to ensure their stories are never forgotten and that the lessons of the Holocaust are passed on to future generations.

Today, we come together to remember, reflect, and renew our commitment to saying: never again.

14 years of Tory chaos broke Britain.

Reform UK isn’t the answer.

Same people. Same failures. New logo.
