The next few years will see a big drive in this sector

Google Maps is becoming #AI interactive, with its recent integration of #Gemini, currently in early release in the US.

I think it's one of those things that will become useful, but we'll need to change our existing habits on how we use Google Maps.

#Anthropic has published an article about how to slash token usage with #AIAgent systems and direct Code Execution with #MCP.
Using this method is far more cost/time efficient than the model calling out to external tools.

The Internet was built for human eyes. But we're living in an era of bots, crawlers, and most recently, AI-driven search.

Should we now be designing websites to be compatible for both humans & #AIAgents?

I believe so.

Lets customise our websites for the #Agentic Internet era.

Many #LLM & #AIAgent solutions now have connectors & #MCPs to link email accounts like Gmail, document storage like Google Drive & OneDrive.

Easy & convenient integration, but personally I'm not comfortable with giving them access to that data.
So I'm building my own privately hosted system instead

Spec-driven development is early stage & has huge potential.

There are some interesting frameworks emerging that use #AgenticAI to build full stack Web applications based on pre-defined specs.

I'm testing one now to build a Web app that solves a problem I'm facing, and it's going well so far

Reportedly #OpenAI is planning on releasing a range devices, likely due out 2026/27.
Its intriguing to think what value they can bring to the use of #AI. It requires some imagination, but gives us some insight on how AI will be integrated into our future.

I think there's a difference between true AI Agency & advanced #workflow #automation.

Some folks talk about workflow platforms as if they are #AIAgents at work, and whilst there are certainly shared characteristics, true #AgenticAI goes far beyond automation of workflows.
