My lines in the sand for 2028:

1) Universal healthcare
2) Ending military support for Israel (barring a major change in Gaza)
3) Aggressive prosecution of the Trump Administration

I will not support a Democrat that does not do these things. I am fed up with failure.

This is worth reading. And their recommendations are nearly a 1:1 correspondence with my 2028 lines in the sand: bsky.app/profile/alex...

It's almost like I know what I'm talking about.

I'm a controversial food opinion generator.

Fruit pies, tarts, etc. are not worth eating w/o custard, ice cream, whipped cream, etc.

Chunks of fruit do not belong in ice cream.

Large chunks of chocolate don't, either.

Cakepops are stupid.

Sugar cookies are the grandma candy of cookies.
My most controversial dessert opinion?

Food Network and its ilk have poisoned people’s brains into thinking that everything needs contrasting textures. A good chocolate mousse doesn’t need toasted nuts or a crumble, all it needs is … nothing (or whipped cream or, even better, raspberry coulis).
My most controversial dessert opinion?

Cheese is not a dessert. It is lovely, as an appetizer or something else. But ‘cheese board’ does not belong on the dessert menu.

Dessert must be sweet (thus cheesecake is fine, although I do not like it… which might also be pretty controversial…).

Well, folks, the fascist-enabling tide of the complicit cowards in media may finally be turning. This is by far the most negative I've seen headlines since he took office.

This Christmas the Führer has allotted each child 1 pencil and 2 dolls.
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

New Mexico regularly ranks at the bottom of many quality-of-life metrics. But there is hope for the future, as it's currently doing progressive politics unlike anywhere else in America. It's in no small part due to Governor Granholm and these women:

It's really annoying how the oligarchs have made it so that your choices are either: 1) the uncompetitive merger favored by the right, or 2) the uncompetitive merger allowed by bipartisan consensus.

People really need to stop labeling themselves as "neurodivergent." It's lost all meaning, if it ever had any, especially since it's now commonly used by tech bros to excuse 1) being high in public, and 2) being a raging asshole.

I'm not saying this to be petty, but this is a legitimately ugly trophy. This is what an idol from a sci-fi film that represents evil and excess would look like. This would not be out of place on Zorg's desk.
Person who actually deserves a trophy is the artist who made the FIFA peace prize trophy look like everyone in the entire world holding their head in their hands out of secondhand embarrassment

MAGA Republicans are nothing if not cowards.
Make no mistake about it, Pete Hegseth is throwing Admiral Bradley under the bus, all the while pretending to support him.

When things go south, and they will, Hegseth is going to make sure that Bradley is holding the gun.

In-season tournaments in college basketball outside of conference tournaments are stupid. They're even more stupid in the NBA. But they're extremely stupid if a team that is undefeated and won all of their games doesn't get to play for the title. As a Wolverine, the Cyclones got hosed.
