Sort of a frightening thought that the AI models we see today are actually lagging indicators.

They’re trained on last-gen hardware that's unoptimized for the massive size of modern clusters and the latest training methods.

So, buckle up?

OpenAI abandoned their automatic model router. Instead of routing complex queries to reasoning models, they’re just defaulting to GPT-5.2.

Human nature is wild. We’d rather have fast, incorrect answers than wait 20 seconds for something more likely to be correct.

Jury service was one of the most intense things I’ve ever done.

Honestly, 2025 has thrown up some incredible hurdles in my way.

I’ve grown stronger from each of them.

I woke up this morning thinking I’d have to accept an outcome I really dreaded. Instead, discussion and respect won the day.

It's wild. We have so many real problems as a country, and instead a large chunk of our political class would rather hallucinate that one of the safest big global cities in the world is actually dangerous.
The "London = most dangerous place on the planet" discourse is still going strong on Twitter

I've actually been surprised by how little I've felt threatened as a woman in London (having lived in Tooting and Peckham)

I loved growing up in Nottingham, but I had much, much worse experiences there tbh

Honestly imagine the scenes if a Democrat President suggested renaming FOOTBALL so that soccer could be called that. This loser gets away with the most wild stuff and flag thumpin’ magaholes excuse it all

Is there a world where Apple released the Vision Pro a couple years ago at like a ridiculously subsidized $200 leveraging their massive stockpiles of cash and ushered in a new form factor? Part of me wonders if they’d been bolder about taking a loss if it would have been a success in a way it wasn’t
