Up early on my day off. Ug.
Drive 2 hours thinking I should have slept late & gotten stuff done around the house. This is probably not best use of day.

.... 15 minutes on trail shoulders relax, breathing in the trees & I know this is exactly what I needed. I am home.

12 years ago was one of the hardest days. Remember family being there, snow & completely disconnecting after funeral was over. Held it together to get thru then it was done & so was I for a bit.

Grateful for all the things she taught me like being strong & getting thru the storms.

Still miss her.

9 years ago today we had the highest hopes.

Champagne & fireworks were ready to pop when we finally won those rings. Everything & everyone in #Panthers blue.

Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson & Beyonce performed.

Then orange confetti came crashing down & all was over. Crushing the dream.
