Also, I’ve read a few collections where there are links between the stories so to read them randomly ruins the flow. I think people should treat short story collections with the same respect as they would a novel

I used to have beautiful silky shiny hair. Since the menopause and greyness it’s a complete mess. It grows outwards and is pretty uncontrollable. Looks nice once every few weeks when the hairdresser does it.
