The progression of movement feels like it's from a dream. I run onto a subway platform, the train leaves spawning more platform pieces, oh no! But now the platform BECOMES the train and I'm on it, then I leave the train horizontally into a station that becomes a rooftop and now my alarm is going off

Keep in mind that despite design intent Rhys IS a two-color card under the rules of Magic. He's just easier to cast than Gaddock Teeg but EVERY color-based rule and effect treats them the same. He doesn't dodge Perish if you paid W to cast him.
