A little about me... Studying to be a therapist. Currently a freelance front-end web developer. Tarot cards. Death doula/psychopomp. Writer. Stationery fiend. Dolly Parton admirer. Aspiring banjo player. Public library supporter. Californian in Canada.
I am the target audience for this book, lol.
Don't threaten me with a good time! lol.
Just two aliens doing their best.
For folks in Canada or who have access otherwise, it is also on CBC Gem (with ads)! I haven't watched yet but the preview made me cry 🤣
💯 Totally! You're well on your way. I don't have bsky on my phone, TBH. And the bank app thing is funny, I'm such an elder millennial - I have to do that stuff on my laptop, haha.

Wheeee! 🎉 Congrats ✨
Ahhhh!! AWESOME 🎉✨🔮
Oooh, so we have a cherry tree and would you believe that making candied cherries has NEVER occurred to me...
Time for a little book of poems!
I'm very into the "Christopher's Corner" of book recommendations!
Re-watching Oceans 8 and remembering my standard for friendship in my forties is “would I trust them on a heist?”
I needed this today.
Learning is great but structure of academia is not-so-great. Remember that grades are somewhat subjective a lot of the time & don't necessarily reflect the actual absorption of knowledge in your brain. I find it helpful to find grounding in what I'm actually looking to gain in knowledge.
Is there some sort of Corey VHS Foundation where people can donate their old VHS? Or send their VHS out to pasture in hopes it 'makes' the collection? (I'm thinking for when my VCR finally fades away...)
