one of my very first baby journo stories was about Pluribus over three years ago, and it’s only just now seeing the light of day. time isn’t real.

New Vince Gilligan, Rhea Seehorn Show Won’t Be Another Antihero Story
The newest Vince Gilligan show greenlit by Apple TV+ starring Rhea Seehorn might not be what Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad fans have come to expect from the showrunner.

Teen Vogue was doing incredible political reporting. This is a huge loss ):
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment (also known as Jade takes far too many screenshots of Zelda simulator) delivers when it comes to fierce combat and heartfelt storytelling.

It's a surprisingly evocative prequel to Tears of the Kingdom that shakes up the musou formula in some worthwhile ways.

This is such a bummer. TheGamer basically let me write whatever jokes I wanted about whoever I wanted in the video game industry - to the point of getting legal threats. Few places give freelancers that much freedom. It’s sad to see so many good staff writers and editors let go.
Valnet unfortunately let go of the entire TheGamer features team today alongside several other staff members.

Many incredibly talented and hard working writers I've had the pleasure of working with over the past several years.

Sam’s such an incredible talent - he’s going to keep doing amazing things, no doubt about it. TG’s definitely lost something special with him gone.

Hire him! He’s great!
In light of being laid off from TheGamer today, I don't intend to let my passions die out. I'll continue to create work independently, and keep that excitement for whatever opportunities come my way in the future.

This was a dream career, and I'm not done with it yet.

Unfortunately, my time as an Editor for TheGamer.com has come to an end.

I met some of the best coworkers I've ever had there, I learned and grew a lot.

If anyone is looking for a journo, especially for guides, reviews, VR, horror, and farming RPGs, I'd love to hear from you.

Dying Light 2 was one of the first games I properly guided for TheGamer, so it’s very cool to have the chance to review Dying Light: The Beast. It’s not as ambitious as the last game, but that definitely helps it in the long run. My review: www.thegamer.com/dying-light-...
Dying Light: The Beast Review - Back To Beastics
The Beast isn’t as ambitious as Dying Light 2, but that sharper focus makes it feel like the true sequel to the first game.
