Good morning! No biking commute today (it's too cold again) so no new birds, but here's a very nice photo I took for a female northern cardinal a couple of days ago. If any birds need social media profile pictures or author photos for their books just hit me up! #birds 🪶

This morning I made the stupid mistake of going for a birding walk through Central Park, at -12°C (10°F) and it was NOT FUN. I got to see this titmouse being cute though #birds 🪶

Yesterday's commute bird! A great blue heron that's been hanging out around the north end of Central Park / Visto ayer de camino al trabajo: una garza azul que lleva un tiempo por el lado norte de Central Park #birds 🪶

I'm scanning my father's old photos, and mixed with random family pics from Spain in the 70s I found this one! Maybe an eagle owl juvenile? Very cool to see that my dad was into bird photography too 🙂 #birds 🪶

He cambiado Central Park por el Besòs por unos días y ahí me he encontrado con este Andarríos Chico, primo del Spotted Sandpiper que suelo ver por NY / I've changed Central Park the Besòs River in Spain for a few days, and here I've seen this Common Sandpiper, cousin to my usual Spotteds #birds 🪶

Seen today on my commute through Central Park: a yellow-bellied sapsucker (chupasavia norreño) having a berry breakfast... I didn't know they like berries too! #birds 🪶
