Went shopping for interview clothes today. Settled on a look and not going with a suit, shirt and tie. I'm too old for that, and it's not an executive position.
Scoped out the new job and met one of the staff incognito. Doing my prep.

January Rain
Despite the foul weather, it's been a day of progress. TV is now up on the wall in it's new position and everything is hooked up and working. Had a nice early dinner mid afternoon and then a late supper catching up with YouTube.

Well, I've managed to get it up. Ignore the wonky shelves - temporary heat shield while I wait for the proper one to be delivered. Cables will be hidden. All that aside - I'm feeling quite pleased.

Picked up food donation this morning and restocked the Community Fridge at the hall, before church service. Picked up some groceries for me at Lidl and drove home in the rain.
Watched "Boots" on H's telly as mine still out of action. Loved it. Had a bath

Twice been wronged by clocks tonight. First time I woke up it was 7.56am - fantastic! Get up and start Sunday. Why is it so dark out? Because it was 1.56am. Back to bed.
Just got up for the loo. Bathroom clock says 5.30am. Might as well stay up now. Nope - it's 4.30am.
This night is never-ending.

Twice been wronged by clocks tonight. First time I woke up it was 7.56am - fantastic! Get up and start Sunday. Why is it so dark out? Because it was 1.56am. Back to bed.

With my diy plans scuppered and my tv setup not in a position to be watched (I watch YouTube or dvds) it's been a very long day of waiting for bedtime, without going too soon. I think 10pm should be late enough to see me through til morning

Incidentally, loved #traitorsuk final. The moment when I realised in end game that the Traitors couldn't lose reduced me to tears, and then when Claude was emosh the sobs came. Just wonderful. A triumph for being faithful! Terrific telly.

Received confirmation today that I will be made redundant on 26th January, with my leaving date 31st March. I will be paid my holiday pay in full. However I have been asked to reconsider staying on as caretaker manager for a few months.

Dancing on my own.
After the melt down last week, I'm getting the hang of being on my own again. Two good days on the trot. Went shopping for a few bits, and then spent the day at home doing diy. Put up new curtain pole and curtains and moved my memory board upstairs.
