Gawd I've walked my little legs off! Had a nice walk beside the sea, breakfast at the cafe and walked to town and back. Shopping mission accomplished. I now have complete candelabra!

Saturday 6th December 2025
Had a better night of sleep, but woke up at 5am feeling a bit adrift and down. Decided to get up at 7am and take myself off to Suffolk for a few days. It was the right decision. Had a lovely day at the caravan, despite the cold and rain. Decorated for Christmas. Relaxed.

I have postponed adopting a cat. I should have been excited about meeting new kitties today, but I wasn't. That tells me it's still too soon. I'll revisit it in a couple of months. #caturday

Surprised to find an increased bank balance today. On checking I find that MoreThan have paid out on my claim for Clio's final care. No explanation of the amount settled but it's more than (!) the initial estimate - but still less than half the bill.
Can finally draw a line. 9 weeks today.
