The cap should be 2 homes. Realistically, nobody actually *needs* 2, but I think allowing up to 2 would be fair. The idea of someone owning 10+ homes and renting them out for more than the mortgage would cost, is sickening. We need a purchase cap and easier approval for your first home.

Daily reminder to play Monster Hunter Wilds. Between this and Street Fighter 6, as well as the Resident Evil series over the last several years, Capcom is on an absolute tear.

Picked up 3 months of gamepass ultimate for $45 towards the end of last month. I had cancelled it when they raised the price to $30 per month, but $15 is worth it. Needed it to play Wilds online, plus I intend to try to play Avowed and Star Wars Outlaws. Possibly Outer Worlds 2 as well.

The fact that in a world with billions of humans, a small handful are able to dictate how and where any other humans are allowed to live, is utterly insane. How is this even considered normal? People should be able to live however and wherever they want, so long as they aren’t causing tangible harm.

Monster Hunter Wilds is peak gaming. Even more so with friends. If you haven’t bought this game yet or haven’t played a Monster Hunter game, this is one to pick up. Can usually find physical copies cheaper than what it goes for on sale for digital, but even the digital sale price is worth it.

I do need to go back and play Judgment some more, once the mood strikes again. One thing I’ve noticed about RGG games, is that they’re phenomenal games that must be played when the mood is right. That last part is key.

Started playing Avowed today for a bit, after finishing a session of Monster Hunter Wilds. Seems like a fun game so far. Probably yet another example of idiots on the Internet pushing the narrative that something is awful when it’s not.

Normalize ending guilt by association. The idea of judging someone’s entire being, just because they played one game or listen to a certain podcast or watch a certain content creator, to give some examples, is objectively stupid. One aspect never defines a person. Adults should know this.

I really do hope that the next Xbox does end up being a PC and console hybrid. As someone who has owned both Xbox and PlayStation consoles every generation since the 6th gen, I do believe that Xbox is the overall better platform, generally. They just can’t stay out of their own way.

Really wish we’d have gotten this outfit in Final Fantasy XIV for the crossover event, especially given which monster we fight. The default starter set is fine, for what it is, but pretty much every other set in the game, besides maybe one or two, look better than the Hope sets.

Grabbed Wild Hearts on sale for $8 on PlayStation. I’ve been enjoying Monster Hunter Wilds quite a bit and I did like Monster Hunter Rise when I played that a few years back, so I figured adding another take on the genre would make for a good backlog game to play eventually.

I do have to say that PlayStation’s “deals for you” algorithm is pretty damn good. The first three deals it shows me are three of my absolute favorites from the modern era, all of which I’ve already played on Xbox. Metaphor, Expedition 33, and Cyberpunk.
