If you enjoyed the classic GameBoy Zelda games, I recommend playing Saga of the Moon Priestess. It’s relatively short, but it’s a good indie game and is currently on sale for $3 on PSN. I played it on Xbox when it launched and it was an easy 1000g, so it’s an easy platinum for those interested.

Yeah, that’s not the best look, but he’s also not stupid. The right wing is very easy to manipulate and they’ll be buying the book in droves now. I’ve been mutuals with Mage for years and he’s not a bad person. Just can be a bit rough around the edges at times, which can be said of all humans.

Yeah, what it all boils down to, is that people with nothing better to do, on both the left and right, have created a situation where a charity ends up being the only “victim”.

I’ve avoided commenting on this stuff, because I honestly find the whole situation to be ridiculous. However, caving to one side, then pivoting to completely caving to the other is pretty embarrassing to see. I suppose stress can do that. Each of you should do 50% to charity and call it a day.

Dear supporters of Bitmap Books,

Although I stand by the fact that Moses’ comments were ill-advised and insensitive, the whole thing blew up and was made much bigger than it needed to be. Moses has publicly apologised for any offence caused, as has the original poster of the comments who did not intend to cause this much trouble. I do not feel that this warrants an author losing his livelihood and ruining years of hard work to produce the book.

Despite multiple accusations to the contrary, Moses freely agreed to donate his royalties to charity. There was no coercion from me, however we both recognise that due to an increasingly stressful situation that decisions were rushed on both sides. I’m pleased to say that Moses and I have spoken again today, we stand together, and have agreed that he will receive 100% of his royalties.

Maybe I was hasty in my response, and I’m happy to admit to that. At the time I sincerely thought I was doing the right thing to diffuse an increasingly difficult situation. I will commit to donating all company profits from this first print run to the charity, Special Effect.

The bottom line is that is that Moses has apologised for his original comments, and will now be paid the royalties that are rightfully his.

Moses and myself have received a large amount of personal abuse and threats over the past few days. We hope that this statement will bring some closure to what has happened.

Really wish people didn’t overreact to every little thing. This issue has been greatly exacerbated by social media over the years and it’s something that seems to get worse year over year. Why people make massive deals out of minor issues, when the world has so many major problems, is beyond me.

I suppose it would be nearly everything feeling like a new experience. In many ways, modern games are better, at least mechanically speaking. However, they only are due to using the games we grew up with as a foundation to build upon. Seldom does anything *truly* feel fresh today. Merely refined.

We had it so good back then, just didn’t know it at the time. Healthy competition, publishers took more risks on new IP, we got big sequels in the same generation, and hardware became cheaper as time went on.

Healthcare, education, food, shelter, and transportation are human rights and we have such an overabundance of resources, that there is no excuse for people doing without. We can’t have nice things, because Cletus from West Virginia has a bigot crash out every time a normal person comes into view.

90% of the world’s problems, which aren’t even actually problems, but things that humans of lower intelligence have decided to make into issues, would be fixed by everyone simply minding their own business.

We can’t even focus on real issues, because idiots love to create problems out of nothing.

They keep fucking around, I’m just going to have to bite the bullet and drop all three of them next gen. I’ll just have to buy a PC tower and leave it hooked up to my TV. That was my intention with my laptop, but I’m too lazy to connect it every time I want to play. A tower would fix that.

With all of these price increase we keep seeing on hardware, subscriptions, and games from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo…honestly PC gaming has never looked more appealing. I was leaning Xbox next gen, for the console style PC experience and still may go that route, but Microsoft is hard to support.
