Maybe it’s because the country I live in but at least having a tool to know where your child is it’s not entirely a bad idea, as long as the parent understands that it’s only for safety/emergencies and not over vigilance

There's no anomaly here. People, globally, volunteer their time to powerful public goods the moment they're not actively terrified that they'll lose their home, their food, and their freedom. Which means that capitalism requires us all to live in fear, always - because it can't compete with free.

Also from the side of the costumer it’s a “safer” option, since the website has so many filters for artist to enter its easer to find an artist without getting scammed, so if a huge amount of the clients are there it’s normal that artists want to fill the place

I think it accepts other methods but I don’t remember for sure

I think it’s only a good option if PayPal is too much trouble for you and/or if you don’t have a stable/ish patreon income, besides that getting the verification and starting to sell there is too troublesome, again, especially if you already have something more stable
