im so excited for the gridanian christkindlmarkt again this year… its genuinely my favorite seasonal event now i love how it makes gridania feel a Little more alive as opposed to having every gridanian event in the same place…

idk if ill be fully back every year i just end up taking months long detox sessions from social media but i will be around for the upcoming patch bc everything being unlocked means i can finally play maiming and fending without wanting to tear my skin off

i did like other parts of the patch and how the story was set up but man i wish necron was in endwalker where it felt like his theming was super relevant and wouldve been explored with some class

my only spoiler embargo opinion really is im quite disappointed with necrons execution and inclusion and feel bad it was included bc it feels like a bit of a waste… i wouldnt go as far as to say its insulting to ff9 necron but it is pretty close

one thing i’ll never forgive endwalker for is retconning sharlayan into a perfectly good, altruistic society that had a valid, existential reason for every major policy decision. one of the best parts of ARR’s writing was that sharlayan’s underlying belief system wasn’t so different from garlemald.
