1: Beth Wood (then 70) refused to endorse Jessica Holmes (then 41) for #NCpol Auditor in 2024, picking Dave Boilek (then 57 but looks 77).
2: Boilek was a Democrat until 2023 then fell into MAGA.

The more I think about the Auditor shenanigans, the more I think that there is a heritage faction inside the NC Dems that is both risk adverse, confrontation adverse, and resentful of current party leadership.
