You’re right, I think that’s exactly what makes him such a fascinating character. Because his playful, silly side is both real, and a mask to hide how much he *cares*. It’s a way to hide his vulnerability and pretend it’s all fine, when he’s often it’s not. (Something I deeply relate to 😅)
