It's what makes seeing them fumble this hard so painful. Late XB1 to XSX/S era they were genuinely cooking. Sea of Thieves, Horizon 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Halo Infinite (after some patches admittedly) all bangers, and Obsidian have simply not stopped cooking.

I know not everyone likes Itagaki but it cannot be stressed enough how valuable he was to the industry. Ninja Gaiden and DoA were always among the most fun and graphically stunning games of their time. I feel like he always wanted to push the medium forward in meaningful ways. RIP 🙏

Looking back at art I did 2-3 years ago is genuinely the biggest confidence boost. Even if I'm not happy with everything I do, I am so much better at drawing today than I was back then. At least I think so
