do the people who routinely drive >80 mph on a 55 or 65 open highway just take the risk or is there some social road rule I’m unaware of?

If the CDC is no longer the reliable source of health guidance it once was, where can Americans turn to for trustworthy information? Yasmin Tayag reported in September:
Where to Find Reliable Health Information Without the CDC
No American institution is equipped to replace the agency. But a few trusted resources can help.

Mamdani just played Trump without sacrificing immigrants, Muslims, workers, or the LGBTQ.

Trump did his transactional charm offensive, Mamdani countered without compromising.

He won big and this is the man the Democratic Establishment still won't embrace.

What more do people need to see?

@profcew.bsky.social at the #GlobeSummit2025: Reviving the middle class is a policy choice- through good jobs, high wages, and strong benefits. And expanding paths to wealth, savings, and homeownership. Protecting people from shocks is good policy. @bostonglobe.com @mccormackgradatumb.bsky.social

We know that wealth is deeply unequal... by race, education, and region, and these gaps aren’t accidental. They’re the result of centuries of unequal policy choices. To truly build a middle class in, policy must center equity @bostonglobe.com #GlobeSummit2025 @mccormackgradatumb.bsky.social

Well thank you, Oscars, for responding to this post with the No Other Land win and speech.
Did anyone give a relevant or topical speech? I only saw bits and pieces of the Oscars.

If you worked for 18F and got fired, Group together to start a consulting company.

It’s just a matter of time before DOGE needs you to fix the mess they inevitably create.

They will have to hire your company as a contractor to fix it. But on your terms.

I’m happy to invest and/or help

There is so far no reason to disbelieve any government data set and I deeply trust the civil servant economists at the BLS, BEA, and Census. If the numbers start getting monkeyed with we are absolutely going to hear about it.
How long do we trust these data? I'm already going leery of government data
